Review: The first read the title, you might think ah ... Ninja Turtles ... the stuff for children. This conclusion is partly understandable, given that the minds of many people end up on a Saturday morning cartoon, which was tiny children. But if you're one of a handful of people who remember the original TMNT cartoon and how dark it was, you probably think of more names. This live-action version of the turtles teens to reach back to its comic book origins and offer baby stuff for the most dark, the film more gloomy. This is the key of this film size. It shows how turtles are intended to be viewed. The film is still fun, however, provide the viewer with all the precocious teenager lingo 90 for kick ass, and that it can be squeeze on celuloid. The only problem is that 'the whole Ninja Turtles franchise is has become a Love it or hate tag attached to it, often times to give a bad reputation that really does not deserve. The film is not Blade Runner or Spiderman in any way, but still a small piece of the film that you can just sit back with a bowl of popcorn (or maybe pizza) and enjoy without thinking too much. Unfortunately, this is same as good as the series gets (not that this movie could get much better). Follow-up (TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze, TMNT, and 3) you were just beautiful. TMNT 2 missing gritty edge that makes this movie good (for Vanilla Ice is the soundtrack does not help much), and TMNT 3 is obviously aimed at children. This is a great little movie. Cowabunga!
